Tito Ortiz Reality Series

May 2, 2008

Former UFC light heavyweight titleholder and “Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz seems to be doing quite well for himself in the last year or two. And all despite all but verified rumours he will not be signing with the UFC again after his final match on his contract at UFC 84 against Lyoto Machida. First he was on the now world famous TV show Celebrity Apprentice, now he is starting his very own television reality series.

Details are a bit scarce on the show just yet, but it seem it will go by the name “Anytown Beatdown” and formally went by the name “Anytown Throwdown” the show is currently calling for contestants right now. The show’s premise is new to reality TV It allows contestants to settle a dispute in a very basic way… by fighting it out. Tito, who serves as the host of the show, will train contestants for a currently undisclosed amount of time before each fight. The show will obviously feature a fight each show and the bulk of each episode will go towards showcasing the build-up before the bout.

Apparently, “All Shapes and Sizes” are welcome in this casting call and each contestant will receive $1000.00 for competing in addition to a bonus for winning the bout. The show will be appearing on G4, but no date has been given for its debut episode just yet. If you are interested in throwing your name in the hat and trying to be a contestant on the show, email beatdowncasting@gmail.com Remember to add a bad ass picture of yourself and your phone number, as both are mandatory if you want a call back. The casting call will take place this Sunday by the sounds of it, no word where it will occur but I imagine that would be included in the email if you make it as a contestant.

Tito talks too much and doesn’t deserve the attention anymore. He’s so full of shit, himself , and his girl! He’s a has been! What he’s mainly known for is beating Shamrock and thats all. What about Liddell or Corture or Rampage? U couldn’t beat them! Props for trying I guess, but I don’t think u should still be in a spotlight for shit u almost accomplished! And take for granted and don’t appreciate! What would be an ultimate pay per view, Tito vs. Kimbo! Thats pretty obvious for anyone to see! But, that won’t happen , cause Tito is one of thee best shit talkers of all! All he can do now, is duck Kimbo and try to come back to being popular again! I was a fan of Tito, til he started turning into a wining bitch!

wow, tito spends 2 million on oscar de la hoya’s training facility in big bear. he is a wrestler, he has no striking ability once so ever, if you look back on his fights what has he really done, wow ultimate decision after ultimate decision, he can’t finish fights, he has “no standup period”, this last fight of his useless career will be a dominant loss. i recently saw an interview he did with throwdown and to make a long story short he said he loved his fans and has “never” turned down an autograph, to bad I was at mandalay bay in vegas and my dad and i saw him after the weigh in and it was just his five person posse and my dad and i in the hallway and i asked and he said “i dont have time” and his crew was pushing us aside. the ufc pays this coward 250,000 a fight, he is not a fighter, he is a WWE hype man. Forrest really won, Rashad really won, its to bad chuck couldn’t knock him out just one more time, chuck needs one more easy pay day. What a joke, its a good thing the ufc is starting to trim down their tim sylvia (spar for three rounds) type of fighters, with expensive live ticket sales the real fans want to see a real fight. alot of these fighters don’t have that killer instinct like tyson had, because they are not fighters, let alone “ultimate fighters”.
